Farm & Family History

The Miller Family have farmed in the local area since 1832, firstly near Gerringong before buying the Broughton Mill farm in Berry in 1915, making seven generations to dairy between Gerringong and Broughton Mill.
The strong generational Miller family, currently Gus along with his nephew John, John’s wife Jennifer and their four children, run the Broughton Mill dairy farm today, their farm is nestled in the heart of Berry between two creek’s Broughton Mill & Broughton creek which creates such a scenic spot to dairy. You will often see the cows grazing out the front door of the treat factory.
Another tradition which runs deep in the Millers veins is the game of Rugby with Gus playing for NSW from 1946 – 1949, and Will now playing for the NSW Waratahs.
The Miller’s strong family involvement and connection with the dairy land allows us to ensure the legacy that our forbearers left us to continue for years to come and that we leave the next generation a better environment to produce the healthiest, cleanest and most nutritious product available – White GOLD
